HYPOTHESIS: The cast are all retarded

If we look at Bunnyman with fresh eyes and realize that the characters in this movie are all mentally retarded, then this movie becomes a little more realistic. It's the ONLY way this movie works. If we are to believe that anyone with an average IQ would make the choices that they make, the plot falls apart QUICKLY...I mean, like right out the gate fast.
If you haven't watched Bunnyman and you STILL have to watch it, watch it thinking that "these people are unfortunately mentally retarded", this will give you the empathy to at least feel some sort of sympathy for them or care either way.
Unfortunately, I think it was the person who wrote the script that was lacking in mental intelligence...and perhaps even myself for finishing what is on my list for WORST MOVIES EVER YA'LL.

they are all retarded, the bit where the guy and girl see the bunny in the woods and he grabs the girl by the arm and throws her on the floor, the guy just sprints off as fast as he can! the bunny doesn't have a weapon or anything and when he catches up to the others he just says "she's dead". Now that I think about it, it is pretty funny.

Another kind of funny bit is when the bunny punches that other girl and climbs through the window of the cabin, there's two guys there (again the bunny is unarmed) they just do one and leave her there.

At the beginning as well when the bunny has been ramming them in the truck and they pull over, there's 3 guys in the car but for some reason their not like "right lets beat the crap out off this redneck d*ckhead"

So yes the plot would make loads more sense if all of the cast had a mental deficiency, unfortunately I agree with the OP and think it was the writer or possibly the director who is the mong.

I'm only about half an hour into this, but yeah, 3 guys in the car and they send one of their girlfriends to talk to the driver of the truck. Real big pussies.

Also, the girl in the back of the truck didn't even move when the truck stopped. She should have been half a mile into the woods!

reply

Yeah, the four of them are no match for one guy wearing a bunny suit even AFTER they have a chainsaw and he is unarmed.

reply

lol, i forget about the bit when they actually take the chainsaw off him.

Damn this movie's realistic

Then there's that girl who is mad that that guy was trying to fix the car. "Hey, some of us are sleeping!" Like really? You just got run off the road, but instead of trying to fix the car, you want to take a nap? Okay then. DER!

I agree; the acting was so bad that it was beyond funny.

I loved at parts during the movie, you literally had dead air. Nothing happening; nothing going on; no one saying anything. these were the funniest parts.

Instead of prison, they should make people watch this over and over. They'll never do anything criminal again.

reply

ok and then the part where the Bunnyman rams into them over and over and what do they do, they get out to apologize to him. Really!?

I was able to look past most of those ridiculous moments, but the part that really got me was when the Bunnyman kills the dude under the house, then chases the blonde and gets her out of the tree, then slowly tortures and kills her...and we cut to the two main characters still just outside the cabin LOL

I get that they wanted to go in and get her, but how they missed everything that happened up to that point is inexcusable.

"Well...I've seen enough. Come on Charlie, we're going home."
