Not just in this pos, but in all "teen" movies, they're written as though parenthood has dumbed them down 40 IQ points and wiped their memories clear of being young and in lust. Tell your daughter that blowing off the big party and whatever guy(s) there she likes will just make him or them hotter for her, for crying out loud, not "Hey! You can study!"
