in this story Mulan is fighting for the Wei state.
according to wikipedia existed around 220-265.

in this movie Wei is fighting the Rourans.
according to wikipedia, their nation existed around 330-555.



sooooo whats going on here ?

EDIT:
i looked more, wikipedia says there was Northern Wei that ruled part of china
existed 386-535.

so i guess now it makes sense.
