Half way through the movie, I figured the daughter wasn't so innocent, but at the end, when she puts the little boys glasses in the pouch (along with her mom's wedding ring) as a souvenir, I was shocked to find out she killed her mom.
I'm surprised the nanny was oblivious to everything...oh well!
Yeah that part was crazy, I did not expect that, if the father would have known that he might have thought twice about helping her for he could be next you never know. I honestly thought that the guy that was taking him around killed her and that is why it was not random he picked him.
shareSo I just watched the ending again, and it looks like there is at least one other thing in that blue bag the little girl pulls out and puts the glasses (w/ the ring) in. It looks like a red key chain or something...and I think there's something else but it's not really clear from a distance. Sooo...if she's already starting to think like a killer and keep souvenirs from her victims, it would be safe to assume that the first human she killed wasn't her mother. In the movie that guy says, "We take trophies from our victims. Don't you watch movies?" I doubt the little girl would be carrying her keychain around in her souvenir bag.
If there was a sequel, I bet the nanny would be next. Maybe cuz she finds the wedding ring...since she's on the lookout for it.
Yes, a sequel would be a good idea.
