Roger Corman

Saw this last night. How on Earth did the makers of this film think they could do a serious documentation of B and grindhouse movies and not mention Roger Corman even once. Sure, there are clips from several films he directed and or produced, but otherwise he is totally ignored. This is insane and baffling.

The filmmakers had an interview with Corman but decided not to use it, instead saving it for the eventual DVD release.

I was thinking the same thing. I was also disappointed they didn't interview Quentin Tarantino and/or Robert Rodriguez. That would seem to right up their alley talking about old exploitation films. All in all I enjoyed the doc and found it entertaining though.

Believe me, I am a huge Roger Corman fan, and yes, I thought the same thing, but he has certainly had his time in many other documentaries (I just saw the excellent "Machete Maidens Unleashed" and he is great.

So, given the time available, it was probably better that Corman is left out - let's face it, most of his movies were not grindhouse films, but drive-in films, and there are differences.

Its good that they talked to other film-makers who tend to be overlooked.

Its that man again!!

100% agreed with the OP! I can't believe how they ignored him!
