If I didn't know better, I'd swear this was written and directed by John Waters. It's exactly his brand of humor and fantastically good bad taste and wonderfully gratuitous violence. From the selection of actors (e.g., the John Waters regular, Mink Stole) to wince-inducing scenes like lopping off boobs and the old guy making out with crazy girl, the similarities to JW's work are remarkable. I'm sure that the movie was strongly influenced by JW's style (or lack thereof). I'll bet that JW personally knows many of the people involved in this production. It's good to see his influence spreading to other works.

I went back and examined the closing credits. John Waters is in the "Very Special Thanks" list.

cshartsis1, I dig this flick and I definitely agree about the John Waters vibe. I wish more movies were influenced by him as well.

Check out "The Bloodshed" by Alan Rowe Kelly. Twisted stuff! Alan is definitely influenced by John Waters.

I am influenced by him as well. Below is a free link to my movie "Filthy Rich Filth Uncle Phil". I cast George Stover, who was in John Waters' Female Trouble, Desperate Living and Hairspray. George said that my flick has the feel of an old John Waters movie and so have some reviewers. Enjoy!

I am very interested in seeing "Filthy Rich Filthy Uncle Phil". I clicked on the free download link, but it said the file is missing. I probably waited too long before trying to download it. From one sick John Waters admirer to another, any chance I could get another shot at free access to "Filthy Rich Filthy Uncle Phil"?

P.S. Legalize first degree murder!

Have you noticed that the star of "All About Evil", Natasha Lyonne, is appearing in the Netflix comedy series "Orange is the New Black"? She's pretty good in it as a sarcastic lesbian inmate. It also looks like she lost some weight since doing "All About Evil". Not bad looking.

Actually, it reminded me of a Herschel Gordon Lewis film. But H.G. Lewis was himself a big influence on Waters. And Waters has never actually made an out-and-out horror film (except maybe "Multiple Maniacs").

It totally was reminiscent of JW's movies, and actually reminded me quite a bit of Cecil B. Demented, what with the rogue film crew and similar humor. Awesome movie! Oh, and the goth girl who got her boobies lopped off, and the two twins were super hot.
