Music question (on the Mississippi)

I'm curious if anyone happens to know the music played when Stephen is on the small boat in the Mississippi. It's a very familiar and somewhat minimalistic piano(?) tune. It's heard a second time later in the episode, though I don't remember which part. I'm guessing it's from a movie soundtrack...

Thanks in advance!

I noticed that too. It's a track named "Miles and Maya Theme" from Rolfe Kent's Sideways motion picture soundtrack. It wasn't the same recording, more like a variation from the original composition. I was planning to see if the ending credits mentioned the songs featured in the episode, but I missed them altogether as I was trying to start the recording. I'm curious also who performed that and can you find it anywhere.

Well, there were no music credits on the episode, so I couldn't find it there either. But thanks for pointing out Sideways, I just checked out the audio previews of the soundtrack on Amazon, and I think the track I was looking for is the one called 'Abandoning the Wedding.'
Quite funny since I watched Sideways pretty much a week after this episode of Fry in America and I couldn't put 1 and 1 together then :-D

TV producers for some reason feel they don't need to give credit to the musicians whose music they use in their shows, the way movie producers do. And I think it's bullsh*t.
