I suppose it's possible, but unlikely. There have been rumors of her having been sold into white slavery, but if that was the case, I would think someone would have come forward by now because of the reward involved.

shareNo, they have not found her bones. They did a scan of a particular area in the ocean and saw something that looked very much like a skeleton, but that turned out not to be the case. Really, if they had found the girl, don't you think it would have been a MAJOR news story?

It is possible that was what originally happened. But even if that did happen, I think that by now she would be dead. I don't think the people that do this to women turn them loose when they are done with them. And by this time, she would be "used up" according to them.

Who knows? Maybe that was a lie. Perhaps he did sell her, then the traders (or whatever you want to call them) warned him to keep his mouth shut, so he changed the story.
