Duggars and gardening...at least Jana (and maybe some others) tries

I know awhile ago (pre knowledge of the family's scandals etc) many of you criticized the family's canned food diet and their lack of a garden. Well the garden patches I saw in the latest ep of Counting On didn't look too bad. Sure, added together they probably weren't enough to provide for ALL of the 20+ member family's produce needs, but they look like they could put a good dent in the area of beans, lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, and some sweet corn.

The comments were about the lack of a garden years ago, during earlier seasons of the show. For many years they didn't have a garden at all, which was ridiculous considering all the land they have and all the kids that could help. I agree that now they finally have a very nice garden, thanks to Jana. It's about time.

I always wondered why they didn't have a garden also, but hey not everyone is into digging in the dirt, heck it's just another chore in my eyes. But if Jana enjoys it good for her.
