Jeremy

Does anyone else get a strange feeling about jermey? I first thought he was more normal than the rest, considering his background and such but in the footage we seen I've been Getting a weird feeling about him. He seems like he may be very controlling.
I don't remember his exact words but I got this feeling when he was asking/ telling her about the photos his friend wanted to do before the engagement/ dinner. They way he said it set off my radar.
Hopefully I'm wrong though and they have a good marriage.

I hope he's not weird or controlling but he does seem almost too good to be true. The only thing that sticks out for me is his constant wide smile while talking....he can be talking about something serious yet his mouth is smiling. That makes me feel uncomfortable.

Hopefully he was just super nervous when he was talking about his photographer friend taking their pictures, since he was about to propose. I don't get any strange vibe from him - he seems like a very nice man. I guess we'll have to see where their marriage takes them.

I have to say I have had the same vibe with him. Very controlling, manipulative, and more in it for the publicity, than true love.

If you really look at the videos of him, he is always clocking the cameras, and making sure he is being 'seen'. Even in candid photos of them not necessarily being filmed (between takes) he is always checking out where the cameras are, and the people around him - like he wants to be noticed by others around him and is monitoring the situation in a way a normal person would just live their life. It's like he's got a disguise on and he's pretending, and making sure he is keeping it up as to not let anyone see the mask slip-off.

I genuinely get a bad vibe from him, that I haven't from the previous Spouses. He has Brock Turner vibe.

I admit, Perhaps I am projecting my own issues. He reminds me a lot of an abusive ex I had, who outwardly was charming and a charismatic, knew how to work a room, and everyone admired - but at home he was the complete opposite. Of course no one believed he could ever be abusive, manipulative etc, so it was my fault and went on far longer than it should have because I kept second-guessing myself, as others did.

It just makes me very scared for Jinger.

My guess, based on his behavior, the fact that he was once 'famous' by being a former pro-soccer player, and his dad's comments about 'Jinger keeping him 'in line/on the right track' etc., is that maybe he went through one of those reformation camps or programs like Mike Pence supposedly advocated...so his behavior in part is paranoia about being 'outed' or something because of his past. (And to the Duggers, or others like them, any homosexual behavior or experimentation Jeremy could've done in his past would probably seem more disgusting to them than anything Josh did in his past...rme smh)

Or Jeremy is potentially a bit of a fake ass like Josh in real life, and Jinger will have to be savvy with him in regard to potential affairs and whatever else in the future too. Good luck to her. smh

Yeah he definitely has the air of fundie smugness that so many of the males have.

It is always amusing to me that they preach about humility and humbleness yet seem very prideful and smug outwardly.
