for apocalypse movies, I liked this better:

I just couldn't get into Steve Carrell's character (nothing likable about him) and certainly have no idea why Keira Knightly's character would like him either - never mind love him enough to turn the plane around instead of visiting her family.

Just watched it based on this thread.

I liked it ok, but it didn't move me nearly as much as this one. I kinda thought Patrick was a jerk to be honest and couldn't get emotionally attached to him.
