Elsa th maid was not clueless

I just rewatched. I don't think she was clueless about the end. She was just dealing with it in her own way. In the last scene where Dodge yells at her to go home, she says in Spanish "I don't want to go, you are my friend. I want to clean..." I feel she wanted to stay busy but also cared about Dodge and did not want him to be alone. She was the housekeeper, so she probably new about his cheating wife and that he would be alone.
