Arent they smug enough as they have ruined the novels enough by replacing all 3 lead actress thrice and their husbands twice that they decide to dish another bland movie.

Congo we are going to have our fourth Missy*sarcastic*. By next 20 years 40 actresses will have played Missy.

Janette Oke should PROTEST against the mutation of her wonderful novels!

Her novels are great, but the movies were good, too. They just didn't follow the books. I have to admit that I was little disappointed when I watched the first one, but then I enjoyed it once I got over the disappointment.

The next two movies are not based on the original books. They are based on characters either in the original books or mentioned in the original books. They are prequels. I like the books. I like the movies, but they definitely don't follow the books. Only the first movie kind of follows the books. I kind of wish they had left Missy as a toddler, but I thought the movie was good.
