The Only Movie...

50/50 is the only movie that has ever made me cry more then once. Every time I watch this movie I ugly cry. With other movies that can only happen the first time I watch. Ive never lost anyone to cancer (except my 2 dogs) but I know many many people who have beat cancer. This movie is probably the most realistic cancer movie I've ever seen. Fault in our stars was an amazing book but terrible movie, 50/50 was incredible in every department.

I'm right there with you.

I've seen it for the first time just now and it did make me teary.. The scene where he finds the book in his friends bathroom was the bit that got me because he didn't know how much other people cared about him.. Very sweet! I felt it was very emotional but never depressing - it got the right balance!

I find that scene the most powerful in the movie, I cried since then till the end of the movie cause nobody loves me like that... Well not because of that, I was joking, but yes, that's when the tears start dropping

reply

Agreed. I also rerly cry, but this film is quite moving.

I watched this movie for the first time last night. I never watched it because in the previews, I thought it was about his friend having him pretend he had cancer so that they could both get laid...so either I didn't see the whole preview or they showed a crapy one to play. Seth Rogan being in it didn't have me jumping at the chance to watch either.

I decided to watch this movie before bed last night and I couldn't stop crying! I loved everything about it, shoot even Seth Rogan's character was loveable! This morning I woke up with achey eyes because of how much I cried.

The scene that always gets me is when they are about to take Adam in for surgery and he looks to his mom for support.
