Audio Mix - screwed up on Netflix streaming?

I thought it might just be a Stereo to 5.1 problem, but even with all of the sound coming out of a single speaker, the mix is horrible. When there is any music playing, the voices are nearly inaudible. Is this a problem on the DVD, too? Or is it something limited to my sound system? I haven't had this problem with any other streaming content in six months...

This is kind of late as a reply, but I just watched this on Netflix streaming video and the sound was OK (played directly on my laptop, through its little speaker). There were a couple places where ambient noise made the voices almost inaudible, but subtitles were provided there. Either they've fixed the sound track or the problem only occurs with fancy sound systems.
