Honestly, reading all these topics is pretty hilarious. I just recently caught the trailer of this movie and it looked pretty awesome I gotta say.
What's REALLY awesome though, is all the terribly strung together broken english on this board, and how angry people are getting at each other. Good times man.
Hey man, either you "just" catch a video or "recently" but not togethet, and this reminds me of the comment you shot on this forum topics so called "broken english", and as a matter of fact nothing exist like one broken english its called poor grammar. Good times to you too.
share"just recently" is a common phrase in english. Recent could denote any amount of time, seeing as how "recent" is subjective. With the addition of "just" to the word, it clarifies the time frame.
Example:
"I recently caught the trailer for 'Robot'."
"Oh yea? When?"
"Just now."
See how much easier it is to just put those words together? Sooooo much more convenient.
Also, I wasn't insulting the broken english, I was more commenting on some of the very heated conversations being conducted in said broken english. It just made it comical.

I just watched a video on Youtube of the "action" sequences in this movie. How can anyone take it seriously? It looked like a B-movie on the Sci-Fi channel (or I guess Sy Fy now...)

Though I assume the "broken English" is due to the fact that it's not their primary language, which isn't really insult-worthy. I'm sure they speak better English than we speak Indian. But yes, there are a lot of really angry posts here for some reason.
I saw the bits and pieces of this flick at YouTube and it was worth watching.

This film needs English subtitles oh and a Blu-ray release which is supposedly being released in India, if it hasn't already.

Speaking of "broken English", which is completely forgivable if English is a second language, but it made me wonder about something. I see in this film and other Indian films a lot of quick switching between languages. In Endhiran the characters switch between Tamil and English with no obvious reason why. Is this how discourse usually goes in India. I know that something like a dozen languages are commonly spoken there, but what makes someone decide this sentence needs to be spoken in Tamil or Hindi or English and the next in some other language?
