saw and estate of panic

as i was watching this episode, it got me thinking of the movies saw. does anyone think that whoever thought of these things for the people to get out of should have told the writers of saw to do. But just change and modify it for life threating instead. especially the last thing that the guy had to do to get the money. that would be a cool trap in the saw film.
