Ay Dios Mio!

This movie looks so great! I love that America and Forest are doing a movie together, and the cherry on top is the reunion with her "Real Women" mom, Lupe Ontiveros.

Arriba, arriba!

For me this looks pretty good. Not a big Mencia fan but I anticipated that line in the trailer about how he raised his kids so I thought that was hilarious. Speaking of, as I mentioned in the other thread I'm going to have a hard time believing Regina and Mencia as parents. How old are the married couple supposed to be?

I also saw a flash of Anna Maria Horsford who seems to have a gray wig on her head which means she will be aged up, probably to grandmother, but I think she's younger than Whitaker, well she looks about the same age as him.

And...speaking of Lupe Ontiveros they aged her up the same way in Freddie. I love her too! I really like the cast individually with the one exception (but since this is a script and not his show it should be fine) so together they should be great.

Lupe Ontiveros is always good - she makes me laugh! I haven't seen her in much, but whenever she's on screen I sit up and pay attention. I LOVE America Ferrera - I'm looking forward to seeing her in this.

There must be stronger Hispanic actors than these two.

There are several. Mario Lopez comes to mind...he may be a little young to play the father, but if they gave him a few shirtless scenes, I could overlook that. ^.~

Exactly. I loved her in My Family. Mario Lopez? Now that would be hilarious. Edward James Olmos is always good. Or Esai Morales since we're talking about good looking men. Now I'd pay twice to see that!

I'm not a Puerto Rican but I'm speakin' so that you know.

I agree America and Forest are fantastic, but Carlos Mencia ruins this for me. He's only a notch higher than George Lopez, both giant toolbags. There must be stronger Hispanic actors than these two.

I love Mencia...

I'm working on my inner peace...hmmmm...

Edward James Olmos immediately springs to mind, as does Alfred Molina. Hell, I would even cast John Leguizamo over Carlos Mencia.

If you are reading this, you have just lost The Game.

For real. Mencia is a douche. George Lopez would have been picture-perfect for this role.

Sorry, but casting Esai Morales would require a rewrite the script to acknowledge his smoking hotness.
