so, a third series likely?
It didnt throw in a cliffhanger like the locket in the last series, so theres no clear plot device for it. This show has a tendency to end a bit scrappily doesnt it.

It kinda HAS to end like that as they don't know if they will get a third series or not. If thats all we get its a good enough ending for me. "No lose ends" if you will. BUT if they DID do one more series you have plenty of story options:
David trying to bring his mother back to life
David budding relationship with his new girlfriend
What ever happened to Jeremy Goode/The Silent Singer
Nazi goings on at Hoity Toyties
Mr. Jelly trying to carry on with his life after all the craziness
The show still has milage for at least one more series for me, but if it DID end there then so be it

None of those things would make another series. There's literally no storyline left to work into another full series. They would have to start completely over again. Let's not forget, the whole "I know what you did" thing has already been revealed. That was the entire concept of the show. There are "no loose ends" as Grace Andrews would say.
