Included Lomax section in Halloween Special?

I've read from a few reviewers online that The Halloween Special included as an extra in the series box set is in fact an edited version of it. The stand alone release is said to be the full version of the special with a section that supposedly includes the Oscar Lomax character in it. However both the series extra version and the stand alone version are both listed as being 60mins in length, so I'm wondering what the deal is here.

Is there anyone who can actually confirm or deny whether there is indeed a difference between the two versions of The Halloween Special that were released?

The one included with the box set is 50 minutes, the stand alone is 60 minutes.

I think it depends on which format you intend to buy. According to dvdcompare.net, the complete DVD boxset appears to come with the edited US version (48:10), whereas a comment on amazon.co.uk states that the complete Blu-ray boxset includes a version of the Halloween special that runs for 58:56.

short version:

Halloween on the complete series DVD - 48:10
Halloween on the complete series Blu - 58:56

Damn I've only seen the shorter version then. One more thing to hunt for in CEX I suppose...
