Rewatching series 1.....plot hole? *SPOILERS*

Got series 1 and 2 for christmas... never watched the second series so I'm watching the first one again to remind myself of what happened. However I noticed something. In the second episode Jelly goes to a kids party only to find Jolly there, who he attacks. The police arrest him and he is taken outside. As the camera pans we see the blackmailer write "You killed her" on Jelly's car.

On first viewing this is all well and good, but on Jolly's reveal as the blackmailer, how can he be in two places at once? If this is explained in the second series please don't spoil it!
