Character and plot development

The one thing that bugs me with the newer PR seasons is that characters have the knack of acting like total morons throughout most of the season and only become likable in the finale, Take Sky for example, he took great pleasure in playing the leader because he wanted to be Red Ranger and Kruger wouldn't let him but I supposed he needed to earn that honour with his attitude anyway but he only became more rounded at the end when he realized that the Rangers were all equals. If the producers are going to make extensive character development the why don't they just make a second season where they are more friendly towards each other and then they might become firm fan favourites like Tommy, Kimberly Jason, Adam etc?!

But having said that I did prefer the more cartoony aspect of the earlier seasons anyway, because it was more of an escape into a fantasy world where everyone was friends 100% of the time. I know that a lot of people like to complain about PR trying to be more realistic but hey PR with monsters ISN'T realistic it's just a bit of fun and larking about and shouldn't be taken so seriously!
