What year is this season set?

As the title asks, what year is RPM set in? Apparently it's a post-apocalyptic "near future" setting, but is it before or after S.P.D.?

Any Buffyverse comic that's post-"Not Fade Away" is non-canon, my PoV says.

I think it is set between SPD and Time Force.

Seems like it's after Time Force, when the world ends. Unless this is before,and they re-built.

It takes place in the early 21st century. Dialog from "Run Ziggy Run":

Guard: "We don't use these paper requests anymore. Everything is digital now."

Goon pretending to be delivery driver: "So the Colonel ain't living in the 21st century yet."
