I've been doing my best to keep up with it and I would hate to miss out on the end of the series. I saw on wikipedia that the last two episodes were scheduled for late December but that has since been removed... anyone have any ideas?

29. If Venjix Won
Ziggy accidentally teleports him and Dr. K into a cave! The rangers need to find out the password to Dr. K’s system in order to get them out of the cave. Their failed attempts trigger a time capsule video that Dr. K compiled should they fail to destroy Venjix. The rangers watch in horror as they figure out what the password might be before its too late.
30. End Game
Venjix’s end game is about to reveal itself. Every attack bot has been a calculating step closer to his plan. The city is filled with hybrids just like Dillon. Venjix is going to activate them all and Corinth will be brought down.

Damn, not til the end of December? What the heck? I don't see any benefit from dragging the show out that much longer. The show premiered in March for pete's sake.
shareThe Reason for dragging it out is College Football. You see ABC has a commitment to broadcasting college football games, and because of this RPM can't always air in every time slot. December 19th is the next time that RPM can air in every time slot that it's supposed to and Disney isn't going to air a new episode when some parts of the country can't watch it. Now, I don't know why they didn't start doubling up new episodes sooner, to avoid this 10 week period in which we don't get a new episode, but they didn't, so we're stuck with what we've got.

Hmm.. and here I thought the reason they were delaying the last few episodes was because they wanted to give the franchise as a whole a proper send off.

Well, had they known when they made the finale that RPM was for sure the last season, they might have brought back some old rangers. The problem was that announcement wasn't made until way after filming had been completed. I actually think it sounds awesome. I feel like this could be the finale we've gotten since "The End of Time".

Danger and Destiny, Part II -- 700th episode, season and series finale.
In order to defeat Venjix, another virus will have to be inserted into his system. The Rangers have Tenaya walk back into enemy lines to insert the virus. Meanwhile the Rangers have to hold up against Venjix in a fight. Dr. K is able to reverse Venjix's deletion of the Gold & Silver Rangers. Reunited, they attack Venjix in his weakened state. Venjix is defeated and the war is over.

Second of all, they mean the Power Rangers series. Yes, while each incarnation is technically a new series, Power Rangers is considered my most to be one series, and this will be the last new episode produced in the franchise, at least for a few years, probably forever.
