Any crossovers?

did any of the previous rangers from other seasons crossover into this show or was any bit of continuity established at all?

reply

No crossovers. Other than a brief glimpse of a Jungle Karma Pizza, there was absolutely nothing in RPM that connected it with previous PR.

reply

Wrong. Well, right but wrong. There was one other thing, the red Overdrive helmet.

This bring up a bigger Question ; Why if there was a trained group of Martial artist working and living inside of the pizza parlor. Why did the mob guys walk out with a stack of cash. I mean wouldn't made better sense do to green always screw up the mobs plans that he and the other guy should of been tossed out of Jungle Karma Pizza covered in pizza toppings and flour.

They are having Rpm/samurai team up.

reply

Yeah, but will it be the whole team or just Scott? And will Scott stay morphed the whole time?

reply

Yeah, it was only Scott and yes he is morphed the whole time. What really bothered me was that we don't see the other rangers. All we get is a "they said hi" from one of the rangers when they were sent to Scott's dimension. It was pretty weak since we don't get to see them in Corinth. I expected a huge and epic team up. All we had was Jaydon and Scott doing most of the ass kicking until the others returned for the big wrap up.

Summer and Dillon left Corinth in hopes of finding life outside of it. Ziggy along with Dr. K opened a children's school. I think it's safe to say that Ziggy no longer wanted to be Ranger Green. Gem, Gemma, and Flynn are the only three who could have appeared but as Scott said he didn't want to demorph because he didn't know if he could breathe in their world.

So perhaps Colonel Truman and Scott both agreed to not put the entire team at risk in case Scott fails at least they still have Gem, Gemma, and Flynn back home. Also Scott didn't know if he would be able to go back to his world so maybe that is another reason the other team didn't show up.

Just pointing this out there, from the perspective of Scott and the RPM Rangers' world, "Clash of the Red Rangers" is set before their season finale. The RPM Earth is still very much polluted (whereas it was finally recovering with Venjix defeated at the end of their season), Venjix is still around (Professor Cog alludes to him when mentioning the master he's serving), and Scott very clearly hasn't retired from being a Ranger. I'd say that if following RPM's story, it can be watched decently between "Control-Alt-Delete" and "Run Ziggy Run". This differs from the Sentai source material, where from the perspective of the Go-Ongers, their season/series already finished.

Incorrect. It takes place after the ending of RPM. When Cog is fighting Scott in his world he is the only one operating the zord. Cog's first appearance was in Clash of the Red Rangers. He alludes to Venjix because I'm sure they are trying to bring him back but Venjix does not at all mention Professor Cog in his world. In fact Cog is scheduled to return in a Super Megafore by luring the Mega Rangers into Corinth.
