Dillion is probably my least favorite of the Rangers of all seasons!

Out of all the seventeen seasons of the Power Rangers, I think Dillion is probably my very least favorite of the Rangers. Every show needs a cocky and arrogant one. And maybe I am either in the minority or majority of this!
But really the guy thinks he's better than thou and is condescending towards everybody. Sure he has his past with his sister. Really still, that is no excuse of his attitude.

I do not know I think the guys from the SPD series could take that spot. Thoes guy sure ticked me off.

Hello caller, this is Mr. Obvious. What is your problem?

reply

Let's not forget OO's Will, he was sooo cocky it was enough to make your eyes bleed with that smug arrogant smile of his, I could have smacked him every time he did that!! lol.

And yeah, the SPD Rangers did have ideas above their station but I thought that Jack and Bridge were the lesser of all evils in that regard.

The like the grounded and modest Rangers from the earlier Saban era seasons as I always think it's better to be down-to-earth and not show off even if you are good at something! The MMPRs always got good grades but they never threw their weight around and thought they were the ultimate best. It's just a shame that the final PR season couldn't have them in them just to round things off with a fun likeable team!

I actually think Dillion was one of the most interesting Rangers in recent years. He may have had an attitude, but he wasnt a complete jerkass. Plus, I thought it was nice to see a Ranger that was essentially forced by the law into playing hero. Thats something I dont think has ever been done.

Above all else though, the one reason I liked Dillon so much is that unlike most of Disney's Red Rangers, RPM's Black Ranger was written to actually be interesting.

We all have our problems, some just hide it better.

I agree with soul reaver. Do we always want a perfect, no faults ranger? Sure, the whole point of being a Power Ranger is to be a saviour, but having a perfectly normal guy who is an angel all of the time is seriously boring. Dillon is interesting, because of his complicated storyline and the fact he was bad-ass.

Dillon for the win! ;p

I grew up with MMPR and I grew out of Power Rangers fast after the end of MMPR but I didn't really stop watching fully until Lost Galaxy or In Space, one of them. I have since made it an effort to watch a few epsisodes of what I saw as crap trying to be Power Rangers. I thought Ninja Storm was pretty good, it wasn't until I saw episode 1 of RPM that I thought there may still be hope for Power Ranger. Soon enough I was sucked in and watched every RPM episode in order. Fantastic! As for Dillon, amazing. His back story was great and his personality was awesome. Oneof the best Power Rangers ever. His attitude and bad as way was something that you would have gotten from Tommy in MMPR when he was the evil Green Ranger, the thing with Dillion was that he wasn'r evil, he was just Dillion. I also loved Ziggy, he was very interesting. I loved how he was the Green ranger. The one ranger that was a lat down was the Red Ranger. By far one of the worst if not worst Red Rangers, maybe even ranger period. The character was lacking.

I didn't like Dillon either but that was mostly because I thought his actor wasn't very good. He always sounded so forced with the delivery of his lines. I'm surprised Justin hasn't been mentioned yet in terms of annoying Rangers

Isn't that reason enough, Fire?

In the kingdom of the blind, you're the village idiot.

It's every excuse for his attitude, that's the point of his character. At least he's not dull and completely devoid of any emotion like Scott or the many lackluster red rangers since MMPR.

But see Scott was raised as a military brat....emotion was and is not something that is shown in those families, so with that being his back story....Scott is dead on.
as for Dillon....favorite ranger to day outside of MMPR
