I'm fighting Scarlet, and from what I can tell it is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to dodge her attacks when she's on her legs. The only was you can attack her is to stand right underneath her. The targeting system is completely screwed. You move an inch at a time and you have to time your dodges PERFECTLY to do a block. Also when you aim your gun, you can't go right to menu screen, you have to first hit the aim button again to go back to normal view. I like a game to be challenge, but I'm completely fed up with these controls. And you can't skip conversations which gets really annoying!

On a side note, it's impossible to have a dog run up behind you and bite you if you just keep running. I feel very safe on the streets.

After metal, everything else in your life got the volume turned down.

Whilst Scarlet is the hardest boss in the game she's far from impossible, it's worth remembering that when not locked on your dodge button will cause you to roll quite far in the direction you move the stick. If you can't get the hang of the dodge system I'd suggest smashing her legs up for a while and then rolling away until she's swung a couple of times and then move back in to attack, rinse and repeat, it's not too tricky.

Also when you aim your gun, you can't go right to menu screen, you have to first hit the aim button again to go back to normal view.

surely you just have to let go of the aiming trigger, unless you have it set up as a toggle rather than a trigger, if that's so I'd suggest you change it.

I'm thinking that you've just been lucky so far, I've found it's almost impossible to run away from the dogs without getting mauled!

First of all, no need to use the gun, just get up close and personal with the crow bar. All that it takes is some hitting followed by dodging. It is fairly obvious when she is going to swipe at you, when you see the signals press dodge. If you are having trouble, I would assume that your timing of the dodge is pretty bad. Also, I noticed while playing, sometimes the dodge doesn't look like it will work, but as long as the timing is correct, you should not get hit at all. Once you have the timing down, you should be able to beat Scarlet's first stage and never get hit.

Yeah I found that using the faster melee weapons is one sure way to knock that bitch down, took me a few attempts as I had NO health power-ups at all, imagine the frustration lol.

Took me 3 hours to beat Scarlet. What pissed me off the most is that when I finally beat her, it was *beep* easy, lol.
