I finally saw this movie

I have to say the movie is corny, and also predictable (guess who wins the final competition?). It's also often laughable, especially the scene with the cobra since it's so fake-looking. But the flaws of the movie is what makes it entertaining. And it has a good message: determination and hard work will pay off in the end. I saw the movie strictly out of curiosity. After reading the reviews on the movie as well as the comments on this board, I just had to see it. I don't regret it at all. "Standing Ovation" is worth seeing at least once.
