For me, it would be Diane Downs, Susan Eubanks, and Susan Smith. They both killed their own flesh and blood. Not only did they kill their flesh and blood but they did it because of some guy.

I have to agree. There is nothing, to me, as horrible as the thought of a mother killing her kids.

Additionally, I find too many of the comments here really snarky over the acting. I have seen some very good performances, i.e. the actress that played Susan Eubanks.

I agree. Also, Andrea Yates, and the woman who also had the religious delusions associated with Post Partum Psychosis, and cut off her infants arms. It later died. I pretty sure the show had episodes about them as well.

Re: Andrea Yates. Yes, she suffered from PPP, but she did not dismember any of her children. She drowned them , in her genuine delusion, that they might ascend to Heaven, thereby remaining innocent.Post-Partum Psychosis is terrifyingly real. In typical Texas fashion, psychiatric testimony was ignored in favour of a guilty verdict. Even a layperson can see the madness in her eyes. She believed she was doing the right thing.
