Whose death is sadder: Xion or Zack?

Both the death scenes of Xion, in this game, and Zack, in CC:FFVII, are two of the saddest death scenes in video game history. However, I personally find Xion's death as sadder because while Zack is merely dead and will be remembered, Xion is not only dead but forgotten by the end of this game. You may not realize this immediately, but if you think about you'll get what I mean. Also, while Zack was in his 20's and died next to his best friend, which is still sad, at least he died on his own terms. Xion, on the other hand, died when she felt she had to free Kingdom Hearts and in the arms of her best friend/boyfriend...and technically, she was only 14 years old. (Its even sadder when you realize that she wasn't really a year old yet.)

I have yet to play Crisis Core, yet based on a friend's information I think Zach's was probably sadder. You made some great points for Xion, but she didn't have much of a character. Even after a virtual year I never really got to know her... But I still cried when Xion died. I was very moved. Hmm... now that you mention it, it is extremely sad that no one remembers her...

Zack's death is alot sadder in my opinion. I personally was never fond of Xion, so I guess thats why. She wasjust too...Eh...I dunno. I thought there was something lacking in her character.

I thought Zack's death was sadder was becase..well...He didn't wanna die. All he wanted was to go home to Aerith and help Cloud. And..I dunno..I just thought the way Zack died was more...brutal. And thats why its sadder. Xion had a chance to win against Roxas, Zack didn't have a chance from the beginning because he was surrounded.

I dunno...I got way more attatched to Zack then I did to Xion.

Mostly because I ended up celebrating Xion's death :/.

Oh, and Xion will likeley come back in the game after BBS. The Story will center around Sora savinge Xion, Roxas, Axel, Namine, Aqua, Terra, and Ventus.

Zack was dead in FF7 when it came out in 1997. Saying he dies isn't much of a spoiler.

It's like saying Riku beats Roxas at the end of 358/2 Days. We've known this since KH2 came out almost 4 years ago.

I'll give you xion though.

Yeah, I already knew about Zack, it was only Xion that I didn't know about yet. Still, its always better to avoid major spoilers in thread titles.

I just finished the game 5 mins ago. And I have to go with Xion. It was very depressing not only did she die but like you were saying, no one remembers her. And the friendship between Axel,Roxas and Xion is over which is pretty sad also.
