Is Bilal in the final scene,at the beach? Since the film focuses largely on Malik and Bilal's relationship,I thought it would be logical that he would be there in the final scene.I wasn't sure if I saw him,so many pepole at just at a distance in that scene.
shareBilal is shown with the gay cousin putting some type of floating vessel (I want to say a catamaran?)in the water. They are in the background but they are there. By the way, I loved this movie, soundtrack, location, acting, and the beautiful actors. Oh if it were only reality....
shareoh-that was was the gay cousin!i couldn't see him well and thought maybe it was the guy who was interested in the servant girl (was it hakim?).but anyway,i kind of liked the ending,but i found it a let down that some of the people who were the major focus of the film were last seen by the viewers at a distance (and not even together).
shareI think the last scene was important for only two things: Malik made sure the child wasn't tied down by a string and they all lived happily ever after.
