I hate Moore's version of BSG, CRAPICA and the 1st season of SG-U but...

I'm giving this show a shot. I saw most of an episode a few months ago and kinda liked it. It's more in tune with real science fiction and fantasy is, unlike the soap opera/unlikeable characters, etc in Galactica In Name Only, CRAPICA and the 1st season of SG-U. (I'm gonna give SG-U another try, as I heard the producers may have tweeked it some in the off season, acting off of SG fans' input). I'll be back with a review.

I've already given up on SG:U and never had any interest in that Galactica remake.
Remakes never as good as the original.

you missed out on something in passing over Galactica. It is far and away one of the best sci-fi series I've ever watched. True that it was a bit slow getting into it, but if you make it past the pilot and the next 2 episodes, you'll be hooked.

Back to Sanctuary: I was hesitant to watch it, but I'm finding it rather fun to watch, and I'm really liking seeing a totally different side of Amanda Tapping. I'm glad to see that Syfy is continuing with the series.
