Much better than 2.8

This movie is actually quite funny, with good actors and a rather original "plot" (being a mockumentary). Of course it's a bit stupid and childish, but that's the point.

It's eons better than "Twilight", that's for sure.

I agree with that... while it takes forever to get to the point of "Hollywood is so low on ideas they resort to spoof movies" - literally an hour in before that's ever addressed - it's actually a very entertaining movie with a funny cast.

Granted, the top billed actors are rarely seen; Burt Reynolds is in this movie for mere seconds. But that didn't matter.

Yeah, I agree as well. 2.7, as it is right now, is an unfairly low rating given that this was miles ahead of some of the more mainstream spoofs. Sure, it had many jokes that made me cringe, and some of the big name appearances seemed forced and unfunny (I really didn't like Burt Reynolds part, for example), but there was still enough entertaining material to make up for it, in my opinion. For one thing, I thought the primary cast was much better and more likable than in most other modern spoofs. The performances were all pretty energetic and even the sillier jokes were at least delivered well, completely contrary to stuff like Disaster Movie, where every single line delivery felt phoned-in.

I mean, I don't want to sound like this is some masterfully crafted piece of comedic genius, but *by the standards of its genre* it really is okay.
