Angelina Jolie just isn't a good voice actor

I'm sorry, but she absolutely just cannot voice act. She never has any emotion or inflection in her voice as Tigress. Yes, I know Tigress is suppoused to be a "cold" character, but it's like there is no performance there. Still, she is just a little bit better in the sequel than in the original, where she would mangle nearly all of her lines into monotones.

I do like the Kung Fu Panda series, but Angelina Jolie's performance just bothers me.

I think she does a good enough job as Tigress. The fact is she is a tough and "hardcore" character, so it makes sense that she would have a "monotone" voice, at least sometimes.

But I admit there was one scene that her performance bothered me. In the second one, when Tigress is telling Po "watch out" or something to that extent. He's about to fall through the floor in a tower that's caving and on fire, and she sounds like he's just about to trip on something.

I think it worked for the first film, but not for this one, where she was supposed to have more depth. It would have been difficult to change voice actresses (especially when it's someone as famous) for the second movie, so they had to stick with what they had. Agreed though, I just don't think she has it.

She was ok. Not a lot of to work with this one. The pacing is not great. Seems a little rushed.

I agree, just as long as Jack Black was Po, I'd have enjoyed the film with any other actors voicing the others

I totally agree. Maybe she took the 'cold' role a bit too seriously. I thought Tigress was emotionless even when they tried to make her feel something. Even during the fight scene, I dunno the voice didn't work for me.

And I also agree with the celebrity Furious Five voices. I think Jackie Chan said 2 sentences during the whole movie - what a waste.

I agree that Angelina has a quite little range in her voice. Her voice is generic and too monotone to be distinctive and therefore she gives less to her characters. I'm not saying that she completely fails at this, but she's not distinctive at it either

I liked her performance, and I'd rather see a movie featuring her tiger character than another panda movie.
