I enjoyed it. Had good pacing and a good story imo. Some of the under-aging CGI was weird like Frank's eye's and elderly gait in every scene. Was nice to see so many faces from the Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire.

No the film is not overrated. The Irishman is a masterpiece and one of the best films of the year. Scorsese is the best director working today.

Overrated how? What would have made it not generic to you? The movie succeeded but it doesn't mean everyone has to like it. Are you a fan of Mob movies in general OP?
