Please sign in here if you are an MCU fanboy who has grievances with Mr. Scorsese and would like to use the release of his latest movie as an opportunity to settle a score with him

I have seen many salty, bitter posts shitting on Irishman. A flawed movie. A movie that is arguably too long. A movie that maybe plays it safe in terms of sticking with what has worked for the director in the past. But still, IMO, one of the best movies of the year. Maybe THE best. That's a matter of personal taste. But it is objectively better than Avengers: Endgame. THAT is not a matter of personal taste, unless you are a retarded manchild brainlet

But anyway, pls come in this thread if you want to take this chance to nerd-rage against Scorsese. I am sure that your opinion will greatly influence the life of this septuagenarian millionare, Oscar-winning, universally-worshipped Hollywood-legend

Avengers: Endgame sucked from start to finish so that's not a high bar for this movie to go over.

I thought it was hilarious that Scorsese said Marvel isn't making movies, they're making theme park rides, and that's basically true, and then everybody got angry because they've been getting teary-eyed over theme park rides.

On the other hand, if it's emotionally affecting, does it matter how "pure" the art is?

I'm not a big Marvel movie fan (superhero fatigue...so tired...) but people like what they like.

The Irishman was really top-grade stuff, though.
