Trolls have gotten out of control

This movie has a 96 percent on RT, 94 metacritic, and an 8.3 on IMDB so clearly an overwhelming majority liked the movie yet almost every post on here is just bashing the film. The criticisms I hear are just sad like “it’s too long”, “they’re too old”, and “De Niro sucks”. If your attention span can’t handle a movie over 2 hours then your opinion doesn’t matter, who cares if they’re old, the performances were fantastic and the cgi looked good, no they didn’t look 30, but they looked 45. And finally just because you don’t like De Niro’s politics doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the greatest of all time. I just wish the trolls would stop.

I agree. I LOVE long movies, I think De Niro is a despicable person but I loved the movie.

At this moment, of the top 10 posts only 2 are bashing the film. They are allowed to express their opinion. As much as I hate that troll with his bs that all crime movies are "perverse and sick", I'm also tired of people who act as if they invested their money in the film and act as if some random minority of internet users bashing the film is a problem.

There are a few knowledgeable posters with interesting things to say, but by and large it's just a bunch of whiners and trolls

I think this film is over-hyped (it's not bad, believe me, but not quite a masterpiece)- and I'm not a big proponent of imdb or other review sites where the ratings have been bought by the studios for many years now. You want reality? check the forum posts here - this is why imdb shut down the forum boards, peeps kept calling out imdb for inflating ratings, and when the film was actually crap, forum posts always reflected this.

Nope they got shut down because people like you just troll every movie. Almost every post on The Godfather board is bashing it so you guys are just trolls.
