Highly Under Rated ?

Just watched it. And will like to say that it's got far more than what it deserves, strictly IMO.

you are right its clearly underrated . people generally approve films with big stars and as there is no big star in this movie it was rejected. The acting by adah sharma was brilliant keeping in mind she is a newcomer she was just awesome.i loved it 8/10

Wow, just saw it yesterday and found it really compelling. Not a bad story by Vikram Bhatt and some good performances by the actors. Rajneesh Duggal is a good find and definitely a better actor than most of the models-turned-actors.

But the stand out factors in the movie were Adah Sharma and the wonderful sets. The settings depicted the India of 1920s perfectly. But my biggest applaud is reserved for Adah Sharma. What a find she has been!!!! I don't think even Urmila did such a good job in Bhoot. Will be eagerly awaiting for her next releases.

I have watched a lot of horror movies over the past 30 odd years (that I have been watching movies) having inherited the gene from my father who was horror movie fan himself.

And I have to say that 1920 is by far the most underrated horror movie ever to come out of Bollywood. I have seen cheaper and worse fare getting higher ratings than what was given to this masterpiece. Yes, it is flawed but then which movie isn't (I could pick nicks out of classics)...

IMO, a definite 4.5/5.0

Brilliant acting by Adah Sharma, sad that she never got her due but who does without a Godfather in this industry...

Agree.... It's one of best bollywood horror movies if not on top... I really liked it and I wwas praying that "no sequal" should come.. but alas they just ruined such good movie's name with a crap sequel.

You wouldn't say that if you have seen the original movies from which almost every horror scene of this movie was poorly ripped i.e. The Exorcist, The Exorcism of Emily Rose and some of the others. The dumbest idea was when the ghost of some goon who was justly executed returned and made the statue of Jesus bleed tears!! What? And the idea of Gayetri to seduce the villain to make him stay was so *beep* stupid, The acting was horrible the story line was the dumbest and romance almost made me vomit, i gave it a 1 star because there isn't any other option to rate it lower. Nothing was original in this movie, It was an utter disgrace.
