One of the worst superhero movies i've ever seen!

The big one: it undermined a famous villain. The Mandarin has been Iron Man’s Joker, his Lex Luthor, for most of his history, and the movie promised we’d finally see them clash. Instead we got a fakeout and a baddie we barely cared about, and a speech that the villain we wanted was too hokey to ever happen.

It had the wrong ending. For four movies Tony had been finding the hero in himself and enduring the consequences, and he simply gave it up because… girls can’t handle danger? I like Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper, but nothing in the story had led us to the idea that Tony should really choose her over Iron Man (especially how that final fight did wind up!). He blew up his suits only because it seemed like a way to end a series—and then he was right back in armor for Age of Ultron. Even the movie’s last line (it was going to be “I am Tony Stark,” but they made it “Iron Man”) knew the ending didn’t count.

Tony missed half the story. The movie was so determined to take him away from his usual lab, it had most of the conspiracy happen around him, with Pepper or Happy (Happy!) digging up the clues instead
