This will be on my list of great non-traditional Christmas movies to watch during the holiday season. It's up there with Batman Returns :D
I put Iron Man 3 right there with Die Hard as best "non-traditional Christmas" movie of all-time.
Just watched it again. And just in time for this time of the year! :)
Putting aside the Xmas element, yes it’s a kickass movie. Imperfect I guess but so much better than some give it credit for (apart from a certain twist it was generally well-received when it came out). There’s a lot I love about this movie... its tone, story, direction, performances, visuals etc.
Yeah, it's a kickass superhero movie, full of the sort of action, humor, good acting, and surprises that keep me coming back to Marvel films. And "Ringo".
IMHO the best of the 3 Iron Man films.

shareNo, I dismiss all of Iron Man 3's well constructed action scenes, frequent jokes, humanization of it's central character and daring propaganda subtext because of one let down Mandarin twist that immediately winks out of existence everything the film does well faster than a Thanos finger click.
Just kidding. Iron Man 3 is a blast!
