Not bad, as a stand-alone film, but as a sequel ...

I thought that the film was pretty good. The storyline was decent, the film-work was good and it did evoke some pretty strong emotions!
But as a follow-up to Green Street Hooligans, it had a few short comings. The first one is clearly the better of the two, but that's not my point. The things that got me were:
1 - The 'good guys' sank to almost the same level as the 'bad guys' ... like with the ambushing individuals and bashing the &*#@ out of them kinda made me lose a bit of respect for them. I reckon what the should have done there was have even one-on-one fights and just come out on top, because the only reason the other guys normally win is cos they are outnumbering people.
2 - One of the big things that Pete said in the first film was "I don't care who he is, or what he's done; you don't hit a man while he's down." Pretty important quote, right? One that pretty much sums up the values of the first film, but in the second it is completely reversed! They pretty much make it seem fine and dandy to bash the hell out of someone while they're down if you aren't on their side. Kinda subverted the values of the first film ...
But overall, it was enjoyable and well-done. A solid effort on the part of the actors and the director.
Also, I reckon that he should have rung Bovver to save his wifey. That would have been awesome.

Well i think after the end of the first movie, there is no such thing as respect anymore, they kill there leader and friend, and since they arrive in the prison they get attacked all the time, so there is no morals that stand, simple as that. They got jump and all, why they should not do the same thing?
