Why film it in USA?

I don't understand the reasoning behind filming it in the USA.
It was blatantly obvious it was in America as the light switches etc were not British.

I'm sure there were places in the UK where this could have been made.

It just adds to stupidity of this sequal.

It does make one wonder why Lawrence went to Arabia, when England seems to be made up of dry, hot, sandy, deserts.

Huh- ever been to England, pal? Irony, yes, but you just don't make sense.

It makes no difference to anything where it was filmed. LOTR was filmed in New Zealand but set in Mordor. This was filmed somewhere else but set in England. Are these concepts so difficult to understand or are you the one bringing the stupidity to the sequel?

Blimey! I'd forgotten all about this post and the film!

If a movie is set in one country but filmed in another, they should ensure they are convincing people that it is the country in the subject of the movie.

If you ever saw the remake of The Omen where they used Prague as the setting for London, then you will understand my frustrations.

You cannot convince viewers that Prague is London by sticking a few red phone boxes or red letter boxes in every street scene!
