they're making fun of Harry Potter - Kyle (the wizard) was expelled from his wizarding school and there are several parodies of HP-related things, like spells and magical beings. Kyle has a genie that helps him out and kinda looks like Dobby but has a New York/Bronx accent - he even has a wizard enemy that is supposed to be like Malfoy.
