shareAs an Australian, I couldn't agree more. Just finished season 5, and the dvd cover trumpets "uncensored". What a crock. I guess America's interpretation of uncensored is different to the rest of the world's. Graphic violence, which I have no issues with, is just fine. However, a breast, an arse cheek, or, worst of all, a *shudder* penis and hey presto! It's pixelation time. America is sure a land of inexplicable contrasts, graphic violence all good, breast and penis - "the horror". What gives?

I just saw a toy store commercial where the actors are dolls, Ken and Barbie dolls specifically. As one of them addresses a Batman doll, the censors actually pixelated Batman's groin. A freaking doll groin. It was a kid's toy store commercial, fer godssakes. Because, you know, for Christian purity reasons, children must never view a groin. Sheesh.
