Clannad and my transformation into a cry baby

This series made me a man, because as we all know true men cry. Right?... Right?

Anyway my favorite episode, or I should say scene is from the first season where Nagisa wanted to play basketball with Tomoya and then he tried to shoot and couldn't because of his shoulder. I thought that was really emotional, in the rain and all.

Quick thought based on this; the basketball wasn't developed at all I think that was disappointing, there was a really strong build-up to Tomoya's potential return to basketball and pursuing his dreams in become a pro basketball player or something like that, I thought the series has set itself up perfectly for it.

Anyway this thread will most likely not get any attention, but I was late in watching this and I just finished and couldn't help but come to this message board seeking answers to this Interstellar-esque series.

I finished this series yesterday. I liked the series all the way through, but I did't cry, up until Nagisa died, then I shed a few tears. But the part that really stuck with me was when Tomoya got his butt in gear and realized he needed to be a father and raise Ushio. I was sobbing so much.

Yeh!
It was when the dad got involved as well, his dad who has been a part of the series right from episode 1 finally becomes the good guy, really emotional.
