Wow this movie was bad

I mean I wasnt expecting much but I had no idea it would be as bad as it was. Literally not one joke was clever or well delivered. The movie was trying to be an action movie at times, serious in others, mostly it as just tying to be funny and it just wasn't, and considering Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill can both be really funny neither of them made one scene remotely chuckle-worthy. Just an all-around bad film. The script was just awful

Great way of ruining a decent concept by a bunch of stars screwing around. Blame the director for not controlling the set.

What script were they following?! This excuse for a film was just a sequence of lame jokes glued together with some half baked Sci fi story line. The actors were too busy laughing amongst themselves to remember the audience don't get their in - jokes. Worst scifi/comedy film I've seen even compared to anything on the skyfy channel!

reply

Laughing at the pay check for doing nothing.

It felt like half the movie was adlibbed. Poorly.

Snakes....I hate snakes

To the people who post comments that movies such as "The Graduate" are among the worst movies they've ever seen -- you obviously haven't seen "The Watch."

Agreed, I watched this today and did not really laugh- the bit where Lee Ermey appeared which was the best bit, did make me smile

I thought it was pretty funny. However, I can't stand Vince Vaughn. He was borderline ruining the movie for me. Then Jonah and the guy who played JaMarcus saved it for me. The scene where they're all sitting in the van staking out the Costco, and Jonah says

"He's probably watching us from a distance right now... beating the living shít out of his dick, trying to relive his sick fantasies..."

Or something along those lines. I completely lose my shít when he said that LOL 😂

not only that but vince vaughn wasn't funny at all either. and the sex and sexual jokes were way too descriptive and detailed, they were so sick. and so many times the verbal jokes seemed forced into being as sick as they could get just to be funny. they were trying to shock everyone with how sick the humor is and that was pathetic. none of sex or sexual humor was clever or funny. all these lines were brainless.
