Just sad

The production values were good, but the acting was way below par, and the writing was at the very beginner level, with, for instance, lines that were obviously intended to be funny but were not.
The actors seemed to have been coached to perform "over the top" the way it's sometimes done with very weak actors, but it didn't help.
I admit I watched only the first twenty minutes (I could not bear to take it any more). It's sad to see the budget invested in a project like this when even a few thousand more might have been enough to hire a few actors and an actual writer. No real complaints about the production values or the direction, other than that the director should have realized he was getting awful performances.
