Absolute drivel

After watching this tonight with my partner, I turned to say, "Not a bad film, but I bet the mass majority of people won't like it as it doesn't have explosions or is too slow at the start."

This morning I logged into imdb expecting at least one person stating that this film was so very poor, instead of getting on with life, or accepting that they didn't like it and moving on, they'd post their negative view.

Thank you, for being that person. My faith has been restored in imdb. EVERY film, at least, has one post like yours. Every film.


Fact 1 ... The basic concept doesn't work
Seemed fine to us, good, bad etc. Pretty simple

Fact 2 ... Mina Sorvino plays a really annoying premenstrual hag from hell
Did you miss the part where the bad spirit was whispering into her ear, spreading poison? Or the fact that the spirit had been messing with her family for years?

Fact 3 ... Some really dis-likable actor plays her annoying boyfriend
Ahh, he was ok.
Fact 4 ... Half way through another PRESENCE shows up and makes it even more annoying
We both figured out that there were more than one due to the whispering when the first presence was on screen. Pretty easy one there,

Fact 5 ... It end with one of the most schmaltzy gut churning endings in recent history
Wasn't bad, a little un-expected. Shame there weren't any massive explosions or oil-tankers flipping in mid air.
