Good promise, awful execution *Spoiler*

Such an original script, but why make it so comical? The beginning with the silence made the film look so promising. Except for this man who I couldn't decide was just stupid or had to *beep* himself was awkward. He's a ghost, cool. This superior ghost is whispering bad things into her ear, wow. But could have been done so much better. Instead of making it scary, it's acted out in a dramatical way. By making this human conflict between the ghosts like they're normal people, without even making them a bit scary makes it too dull for me. Nice touch with her acting schizophrenic and crazy, but then it turns out it's all ghostly manipulation. I like that idea.

In the end she stops listening, and this black ghost meets up with *beep* and they walk away together, while Mira Sorvino takes the boat with that old guy and her husbond, which she chose not to kill. Yawn. It feels actually much shorter than it is, not longer. Because it feels like I watched nothing. It's too good to be bad in a good way, and to bad to be good. The premise I like. But if it's one thing I learned from this movie which I will take with me further on my life-path, is that when girls get crazy there probably is some ghost whispering things into her ear.

Hahah I did like the idea of her literally having personal demons. I agree, the quietness was very effective in the beginning and really did capture the eeriness of what I might picture a spirit to be like.

But it did get a little strange later on. The idea is what gave this movie it's merits and why others think it deserves a higher rating. But it's execution is what brought it lower.
