I have to praise this film for
not going down the usual road most romantic films do, also for telling a very refreshing story. Cast did a great job too. I was positively surprised by this.

I didn't hate it, but for a "sad rom/com" I felt it was too thinly written. Too many plot twists came and went. I wanted to like it more, but it was just too...thin.
shareTotally agree with the OP. But I'm curious, LostSok; why did you think the plot was too thin? I actually thought there were a lot of subtle moments in this movie that beautifully overlapped one another. It was incredibly layered to me.
I do think however they could have done without the storyline regarding Aaron's murder, because it seemed too rushed - but at the same time I like it because it didn't make this a straightforward romance movie.
I only do it with superheroes.
